Our safeguarding team play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved with the club, especially young players, vulnerable adults, and those new to tennis.
Alongside our safeguarding team we have joined the Young Person's Welfare Ambassador (YPWA) programme through the LTA.
A YPWA's role is targeted towards young people aged 14-24 to give them experience within safeguarding and welfare. This is achieved by working closely with our safeguarding team and mentoring from welfare officer Renata Dexter.
